Welcome: This site is Dedicated to Christian Fathers Everywhere “Happy Father’s Day!”

This is a wonderful time of the year to tell your dad how much you care about him.  Webster dictionary defines a father as a man who has begotten a child. Webster shows such synonyms as dad, daddy, old man, pa, papa, poppa, pater, pop.  There are many other names we use when we speak of these great man in our lives, grandpa, grand daddy, big dad, king daddy, uncle, step dad, God father…

Here are a few selections of Christian Fathers Day poems to help you express your love and appreciation for that super special father figure.  Share them with the dad or dads who have raised you, loved you, inspired you, encouraged you, laughed with you, prayed for you, gave you tough love when you needed it. This is his Special Day.

A Breath Of Heaven
A Breath of Heaven
is the flower I choose
to salute you this day,
With long stems that seem
to choral up to heaven
in a lavender array.

When I look at you as always
you still give me
courage and focus,
wisdom and love,

Just being in your presence
refreshes and renews me,
just like a Breath of Heaven,
made by God above.

Happy Father’s Day Dad
To you
Always our love.

If someone ever asks me,
What do I love about you?
Not a second of hesitation would enter,
As my words would pour out true:

He’s caring
He’s adventurous
He’s exciting
He’s thoughtful
He’s a protector
He’s a provider
He’s sturdy,
“…unmovable always abounding in the work of the Lord…”

I’d smile
and laugh
inside and out,
someone asked,
what you’re all about.

Happy Father’s Day Dad,
Love you!
Glad to shout it out!

What Makes A Dad
God took the strength of a mountain,
The majesty of a tree,
The warmth of a summer sun,
The calm of a quiet sea,
The generous soul of nature,
The comforting arm of night,
The wisdom of the ages,
The power of the eagles flight,
The joy of a morning in spring,
The faith of a mustard seed,
The patience of eternity,
The depth of a family need,
Then God combined these qualities,
When there was nothing more to add,
He knew his masterpiece was complete,
And so,
He called it … Dad
